Refund policy
At House of Vyom, we believe every piece that leaves our workshop carries a part of our spirit. Each idol and pendant is handcrafted and packed with devotion, care, and deep respect for what it represents. We aim to make your experience, from browsing to unboxing, as meaningful as the products themselves.
We also understand that issues may occasionally occur during transit, and we are committed to resolving them fairly and promptly. Please read this policy carefully before placing your order.
When Can You Request a Return or Exchange?
We accept return and exchange requests only in the following cases:
• Your product arrived damaged due to transit mishandling
• You received an incorrect product
• There is a verified manufacturing defect
The 7-Day Window
All return and exchange requests must be initiated within 7 days of the delivery date. Requests submitted after this period will not be eligible. We recommend inspecting your order as soon as it arrives.
What We Need From You
To ensure a smooth and timely process, the following conditions must be met:

The product must be unused, unworn, and in its original condition

The original packaging must be intact and returned with the product

The original invoice or order confirmation must be provided

An uncut parcel opening video is mandatory for all transit damage claims. Claims submitted without this video cannot be processed
What Is Not Covered
House of Vyom products are handcrafted using traditional methods and, in some cases, natural materials. Therefore, the following are not considered defects and are not eligible for return or exchange:
• Products that have been used, worn, installed, or placed in a shrine
• Custom-made or personalised items (made exclusively for you)
• Minor variations in colour, shade, or finish due to handcrafting
• Slight size variations up to 5%, which are inherent to handmade production
• Small differences in texture or polish caused by natural raw materials
• Products that have been repacked, tampered with, or returned without original packaging
Refunds
Once the returned item is received and passes our quality inspection:

Refunds are initiated within 7 to 10 working days of receiving the returned item

The refund is issued to the original payment method

Bank processing may take an additional 3 to 5 working days to reflect the credit

Refunds will not exceed the original purchase value of the item.

Shipping charges are non-refundable unless the error occurred entirely on our end
Replacements
If your product arrived damaged or incorrect, we will prioritise resolving the issue quickly. We will:
• Replace the item at no additional charge (subject to availability), or
• Issue a full refund if the same product cannot be replaced
Cancellations
We begin processing orders promptly to ensure timely delivery. Cancellation requests are subject to the following:

Orders may be cancelled within 24 hours of placing the order

Once the order has been dispatched, it cannot be cancelled

Refused deliveries will be treated as a return under this policy.

Repeated refusal of Cash on Delivery (COD) orders may result in COD being restricted on your account.
Packaging and Unboxing Guidelines
Every House of Vyom order is packed using protective materials chosen to safeguard your idol or pendant during transit.
Please follow these steps upon delivery:
• Do not accept packages that appear visibly crushed, torn, or tampered with
• Record a clear, uncut opening video before removing any packaging
• Contact us immediately if you notice any damage or discrepancy
